Dr. A Sattar is the proud owner and is a highly qualified and vastly experienced dental surgeon of more than 20 years experience and treatment of thousands of patients on the Isle of Wight.

 

He is uniquely qualified with three Masters’ Dental Degrees in Implants; Oral Medicine and Prosthodontics awarded by the world renowned Universities of London-King’s College and the International Medical college of Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster (Germany).

 

Additionally Dr Sattar attained a Postgraduate Certificate in Sedation and Pain Management from the University College London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dentistry in Conscious Sedation & Pain Control from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa which is also his alma mater for his basic undergraduate dental degree. 

 

Dr Sattar, moreover, attained his first undergraduate degree, in pharmacy, from the University of the Western Cape and practised as a pharmacist for many years before qualifying as a dentist. His pharmacist knowledge has blended in well with his dental practise and patient management and aftercare.

 

Adding to his dental expertise Dr Sattar pursued his ongoing dental studies in the comprehensive orthodontic system of straightening malaligned teeth called FASTBRACES®and has achieved the notable distinctions of being awarded firstly the Master Provider Status and shortly thereafter the highest award, that of the Senior Master Provider Status. Dr Sattar is acknowledged as an Expert in this orthodontic teeth straightening system.
